Applying SILK PLASTER liquid wallpaper is quite easy: you will only need a bucket (of sufficient volume for cooking the mixture), clean water and a plastic trowel.

Application: easily applied to plaster, concrete, drywall, painted walls. Cannot be used on glass and metal surfaces. For indoor use only.

Старите тапети да бъдат свалени, пироните и други метални елементи извадени от стените или покрити с лак предпазващ ги от ръжда, участъци със следи на мухъл да бъдат третирани предварително със средство срещу мухъл (и след това обезпрашени и изсушени, а за по-добър резултат също и обработени с грунд).

Ако повърхността попива влага (например незащитен гипсокартонен лист или дървена повърхност) или прясно третирана от мухъл – трябва да я грундирате с водоотблъскващ грунд.

Ако вашите стени са вече боядисани с латекс или с друг вид боя – смятайте че са вече подготвени за нанасяне.

Подготвяне на материала

1) Изсипете цялото съдържание на плика във водата от стайна температура с количество посочено на опаковката, и размесвайте добре с ръцете си, като процеждате сместта между пръстите си (за да избегнете образуването на бучки от лепилото). Ако имате брокати - добавете ги също на тази стъпка.

ВАЖНО!: Не се допуска частично забъркване на плика.

2) Оставете сместта да накисне от 8-10 часа и я разбъркайте още веднъж преди нанасянето.

3) Готовата смес полагайте на неголеми порции с пластмасова маламашка равномерно върху повърхността от ъгъл до ъгъл от едно забъркване.

*Маламашка трябва да прилепва към материала под ъгъл 10-15°, образувайки клин.

**Ако ви се налага да спрете работата преди да покриете цялата стена – не се притеснявайте и при возобновяване на работата намокрете с пулверизатор края на вече нанесен материал с широчина до 5 сантиметра и нека материалът да попие водата, след което продължете нанасянето.

4) Времето за съхнене на течни тапети е 24–48 часа и зависи от температурата, влажността и вентилацията в помещението.

Piecemeal repair

If the coating is mechanically damaged, it is enough to wet the damaged area abundantly with clean water - the material becomes soft and pasty again and can be spread with a plastic spatula. This quality is also relevant for partial contamination: it is not necessary to re-paste wallpaper or paint the entire wall - it is enough to wet the stained area with clean water and replace it with new material.

By combining different colors and textures of patterns, you can quite easily make drawings of any complexity using one of the following technologies:

initially apply one type of material to previously marked areas of a future drawing with a pencil and after complete drying on the first layer, apply material of a different color and/or texture to empty areas
Use stencils (cut, for example, from linoleum with a thickness of 1-1.5 mm.) of complex shapes pre-glued to walls with double-sided tape. After the material from the first layer dries, carefully remove the stencils and place another type of material in the empty areas of your drawing.

* For clearer boundaries of the different elements of your drawing, you can use a marker, and it is also possible to use other decorative elements (beads, threads, sequins, etc.)
